3 great workshops to help you enjoy motorcycling more.

Workshop 1- An introduction To Touring The Planet

Have you ever wanted to do that epic motorcycle vacation but felt over-whelmed at the prospect of long distance travel?
This workship instructed by long distance rider and stand-up comic Daryl Makk will put your mind at ease and help you plan your motorcycle vacation to give you memories for a life time. Daryl has been using his motorcycle as his home for the past 2 riding seasons. He has been living off his bike while traveling from gig to gig and making a video series of his adventure. He will share with you the do's and don'ts of motorcycle touring. Daryl will go through gear selection, trip preparation, rider preparation and how to make sure your bike is ready to tour.

Workshop 2- Basic Motorcycle Maintanence For The Female Rider

Don from UniversalLadies you can relax without having your male riding friends looking over your shoulder or confusing you with mechanical jargon. Taught by red seal mechanic, Don Fergin, this workshop will help familiarize you with the workings of your machine while teaching you that some basic maintanence on your bike is not that difficult once you learn the basics. In a relaxed manner Don will go over some of the mechanics of a motorcycle and remove the intimidation of doing a bit of wrenching on your bike. Think of the confidence of being on the road and knowing that small repairs can be done by yourself along with the money savings of doing your own basic maintanence. Don will take some of the mystery and confusion out of keeping your bike in proper working condition. You may just be able to teach your man a thing or 2 after this workshop!

Workshop 3- Rider Training Seminar

Too Cool

No matter how long a person has been riding, a bit of training is always a good thing. Trevor Dech from Calgary's number one motorcycle training facility Too Cool Motorcycle School, will provide class room instruction on riding techniques and give you insight on the many courses they offer during the riding season. Learn about proper braking, cornering and other riding techniques through the easy going style that Too Cool is known for, Trevor will increase your knowledge of riding giving you more confidence on the road.
